FRMH Mission Statement
FRMH, established in 1968, is a nonprofit community-based interfaith pastoral counseling agency and mental health service comprised of licensed counselors providing services to individuals, couples, families, and groups. An affiliate of the Institutes of Religion and Health, FRMH is a nonprofit, tax-exempt corporation operating under the laws of New York State.
Through our multi-site network of centers, we attempt to provide excellent psychotherapeutic and educational services to people who are seeking help in their social, occupational, or psychological functioning. To that end, we provide individual, marriage, family, and group counseling while sponsoring a host of community workshops, seminars, forums, lectures, and classes. FRMH considers itself to be an extension of the pastoral ministry of the religious communities in its service areas. We offer our services to people in a broad range of economic circumstances.
