Introducing Life Improvement Support Network
Life Improvement Support Network (LISUN) developed as a Mental Health and Wellness outreach program composed of partnerships with Queens Counseling Services of FRMH and various local community organizations. Such partnerships permit Queens Counseling Services the opportunity to provide mental health services to the residents of Nassau County communities, where such resources are scarce. This program was successfully introduced in southwest Nassau communities in 2006. The continued success of the program combined with the increasing need in south Nassau communities has encouraged us to expand our program to these neighborhoods.
